Flying is Fun!

The Recreational Pilot Centre recently launched its new web site with the theme around "Flying is Fun". Whilst intensive training is required for commercial pilots, for the recreational pilot, learning to fly is about achieving the freedom and fun of flight. The Recreational Pilot Centre aims to make your goal of learning to fly an enjoyable event, taken in achievable steps that won't break your budget.

Keith Payne VC Memorial Scholarships

To help you achieve your aim of flying, the Recreational Pilot Centre is awarding a number of scholarships that will assist those with a keen interest to attain their first solo flight; their general flying progress test; as well as endorsements in other aspects of flight.


New Aircraft for the Club

The Recreational Pilot Centre is in the process of expansion with the acquisition of new aircraft for its training fleet. In July 2007, a brand new Australian manufactured Jabiru J170 will join the fleet as the primary training aircraft for the recreational pilot.
